Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is hoping the yellow jersey will not become too heavy for Lesedi Kapinga at Chloorkop.
Kapinga is the latest player to join Sundowns and has joined George Maluleka as another new arrival at their training camp in Rustenburg.
Mosimane says he sees characteristics of both Themba Zwane and Gaston Sirino in the 25-year-old former Black Leopards star, who has joined The Brazilians on a five-year deal.”Good prospect, good player, we are trying to get as many young players as possible to strengthen the team as a backup of the older players, and he fits the programme with his age and style of play,” Mosimane told the media.
“He is the kind of player who likes to play combination-plays, who likes to play one against one taking defenders on… quick.
“So we see him as a Keletso [Makgalwa], we see him having a few characteristics of [Gaston] Sirino, a few characteristics of Themba Zwane of combination-plays, and he’s got the speed also, so he fits the profile.
“I wish him all the best. I hope he makes it. I know the yellow jersey can be heavy for many players we signed and then it becomes like a waste, like we’re signing them and we dont know what to do.
